Use x as your variable, with operators +, -, *, /, ^, sin(), cos(), tan().

Example functions:

• x^3
• sin(x^2)
• (x - 2)*(x + 2)
• x^4 - x^3 + 2*(x^2) - 3x + 5
• (2*(x^2) - x)^2
• x - (x^3)/6 + (x^5)/120 - (x^7)/5040 + (x^9)/362880
